Bafana Bafana Set to Face Lesotho and Nigeria in Crucial World Cup Qualifiers



Johannesburg, South Africa – South Africa coach Hugo Broos has announced his squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria next month. 

Currently top of Group C with 13 points, five ahead of second-placed Rwanda, Bafana Bafana are well-positioned to secure direct qualification to the 2026 World Cup. 

The runner-up could still earn a spot through playoff matches, keeping the group competitive.


Broos highlighted the importance of focus, discipline, and teamwork as South Africa looks to maintain its lead and make history on the world stage.
