Kator FC Drawn Against Al Hilal SC in Kagame Cup 2025

South Sudan Premier League runners-up Kator FC have been placed in Group C of the 2025 CECAFA Kagame Cup. The team will face Al Hilal SC of Sudan—bronze medalists from the previous edition—alongside Mogadishu City Club (Somalia) and Al Ahly SC Medani (Sudan).
The tournament will run from September 2 to 15, 2025 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and will be hosted across three stadiums: Azam Complex, KFC Stadium, and General Isamoyo Stadium.
Sponsored by Betika, the tournament features twelve clubs from the CECAFA region, divided into three groups:

The top team from each group and the best second-placed team overall will advance to the semifinals. The final is scheduled for September 15 to allow teams time to prepare for CAF Interclub competitions.
Kator FC is expected to depart Juba on Friday, August 29, traveling by land through Uganda and Kenya en route to Tanzania.
