The Somalia national football team has arrived in Kampala, Uganda, as they gear up for two crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifier matches.

The Ocean Stars touched down on Saturday evening and will be aiming to break their winless streak in Group G, where they currently sit at the bottom of the table. Their first challenge comes against Guinea, a side they’ll host at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.

Following that, Somalia will remain in Kampala to face the Uganda Cranes on September 8th in a highly anticipated Matchday 8 clash at the same venue.

With hopes of turning their qualifying campaign around, the Ocean Stars are expected to bring energy and determination to the pitch as they seek their first 3 points on the road to 2026
