Juba — In a landmark decision for South Sudanese football, Makur Majok and Deng Abdelrahman Aguer have been elected as the First and Second Vice Presidents of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF), respectively.
The elections took place during the federation’s 4th Elective Extraordinary General Assembly, held on Friday at the Bank of South Sudan Hall in Juba.
For the first time in its history, the SSFF now officially has two vice presidents — a structural change recently approved by the General Assembly in a move aimed at strengthening leadership and improving administrative efficiency within the federation.
Makur Majok and Deng Abdelrahman Aguer bring experience and renewed energy to the SSFF leadership at a time when the country’s football scene is expanding and aiming for greater impact both regionally and internationally.
Their election is seen as a step toward a more inclusive and dynamic federation structure, capable of addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities facing South Sudanese football.
