Yeii Joint Stars to Open CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers Against JKU Princess

South Sudan women’s league champions Yei Joint Stars FC will kick off their CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA qualifiers 2025 campaign in Group C against JKU Princess FC of Zanzibar. The match is set for 8th September 2025 at 16:00 at the Ulinzi Complex, Nairobi.


The Super Queens will then face former CECAFA champions JKT Queens (Tanzania) in the Group C decider on 11th September at 16:00, also at the Ulinzi Complex.

The draw for the zonal qualifiers was conducted on Tuesday afternoon at SuperSport Studio in Nairobi, Kenya. The qualifiers will run from 4th to 16th September 2025, with matches hosted at Nyayo Stadium and Ulinzi Stadium.

The winner of Group C will face the winner of Group A—comprising Kenya Police Bullets, Denden SC, and Kampala Queens—in the semi-finals at the Ulinzi Complex on 14th September at 16:00.

The best second-placed team will meet the winner of Group B in the other semi-final at Ulinzi Complex at 12:30.

The third-place match is scheduled for 16th September at Nyayo Stadium at 12:00, followed by the final at 15:00 the same day
