Youssef Belammari Shines for Morocco Ahead of CHAN 2024 Final



Youssef Belammari has been named in the Morocco senior national team for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers against Niger and Zambia.

The dynamic midfielder was recently named Man of the Match in the Atlas Lions’ dramatic semi-final victory over defending champions Senegal at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). Morocco advanced to the final after winning 5–3 on penalties.

Belammari is currently in camp with the national team as they prepare to face Madagascar in the CHAN 2024 final, with hopes of bringing the trophy back home.

His call-up to the senior squad reflects his growing importance and excellent form on the continental stage.
