Al Huriya FC Stun Atlabara FC 3-1 in Pre-Season Friendly

Juba Football Association side Al Huriya FC delivered a strong performance to defeat South Sudan Premier League outfit Atlabara FC 3-1 in a friendly match played on Thursday at the Bulluk Playground in Juba.

Goals from Dhieu, Derick, and Martin secured the victory for Al Huriya in what was an impressive showing as both clubs continue their preparations for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.

The win comes as a boost for Al Huriya FC as they gear up for their debut campaign in the Juba Football Association First Division League, popularly known as the Konyokonyo League.

Head coach J. Cole's side will kick off their league journey with a clash against Nyakuron FC on 17th September 2025 at the Bulluk Playground.

Meanwhile, Atlabara FC, under the guidance of Coach Bilal Felix, are also set for a historic season as they make their maiden appearance in the South Sudan Premier League.

 Their campaign begins with a high-stakes Juba derby against last season’s runners-up, Kator FC, on 14th September 2025 at the Juba National Stadium.
