Brave 10-Man Ethiopian Coffee SC Frustrate Singida Black Stars in Kagame Cup Stalemate

Ethiopian Coffee SC held firm to claim a gutsy 0-0 draw against hosts Singida Black Stars FC in their opening match of Group A at the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2025.

The Ethiopians were forced to dig deep after their goalkeeper, Ibrahim Donald, was sent off in the 51st minute — a turning point that left them defending with 10 men for the rest of the match.

Singida Black Stars dominated possession and pushed hard for a winner, but a disciplined Ethiopian backline refused to crack.

It’s a vital point for Ethiopian Coffee, who showed spirit and defensive grit, while Singida will see this as a missed opportunity on home soil.
