Breaking News | Senegal’s Moussa Niakhaté Out of DR Congo Clash

The Senegalese Football Federation has confirmed on Sunday morning that Moussa Niakhaté will miss Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Group B leaders DR Congo in Kinshasa.

The defender suffered a knee injury during the match against Sudan and underwent an MRI on Saturday, which confirmed his unavailability.

Senegal will have to face a crucial away test without one of their key defenders.

"The FSF informs that Moussa Niakhate, who was injured in the knee during the match against Sudan, underwent an MRI on Saturday, which confirmed his unavailability. So it's booked for the game against DR Congo on Tuesday. Get well soon Moussa."
