CAF Champions League: Vipers SC Strike Early Against African Stars



Sports Hunter South Sudan: Vipers SC took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute against  African Stars FC during their CAF Champions League preliminary round clash at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

The breakthrough came after a powerful long-range effort from Karim Watambala was deflected into the net by Hilary Mukundane, handing the Ugandan side a valuable early advantage away from home.

The Venoms secure a strong first-leg result before the return fixture in Uganda.
