Gudele FC winger Isaiah Data, popularly known as Juju, has called on the Juba Joint Fans to continue supporting the growth and development of football in the capital.
Juju made the appeal on Saturday, September 27, 2025, while receiving the MVP award from the fans following his outstanding performance in Gudele’s 2-1 victory over his former club, Zal Zal, in the final game of Matchday 2 of the Konyo Konyo League.
The winger, who also previously featured for Al Tahrir, opened the scoring before setting up Gudele’s second goal with a brilliant cross from the left flank, prior to being substituted at halftime. The win leaves Gudele tied at the top of the table with 4 points alongside Viva Star, El Merriekh, Munuki, and Citizen.
Speaking after the match, Juju expressed gratitude to the supporters:
“I thank the Juba Joint Fans. The fans in Juba are doing great. I just want to say, continue supporting the game. Even us players, we are giving everything for the development of football in South Sudan. Actually, there is nothing—no services, no money—but we are still supporting the sport for the next generation of rising youths. I wish the Juba Joint Fans will not leave us alone, but continue to support sports in the Republic of South Sudan.”
