M.C.C FC and Al Hilal FC settle for a point apiece after a tightly contested 1–1 draw in their Group C opener at the 2025 CECAFA Kagame Cup.

The match got off to an electric start with M.C.C FC drawing first blood through Khadohi Marka Kawasira, who calmly converted from the penalty spot following a handball decision midway through the first half.

Al Hilal responded swiftly and decisively. Just minutes later, Emmanuel Flomo found the equalizer with a composed finish after a slick team move, restoring parity and shifting the momentum.

Despite a high-tempo second half filled with intensity, tactical battles, and half-chances on both ends, neither side could find the breakthrough.
