APR FC Kick Off CECAFA Kagame Cup 2025 Campaign with Confident 2-0 Win Over Bumamuru FC



Rwandan heavyweights APR FC made a strong start to their CECAFA Kagame Cup 2025 campaign, earning a solid 2-0 victory over Burundi’s Bumamuru FC in their opening Group B match at the Azam Complex in Tanzania.

Djibril Ouattara opened the scoring in just the 9th minute, giving APR early control of the game. The win was sealed in the 73rd minute when William Togui found the back of the net to double the lead.

The result sees APR FC begin their group stage journey on a high note, as they set their sights on progressing further in the regional tournament
