Togo have claimed a 1–0 victory over Sudan in a crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 African Qualifier clash at Stade de Kégué.

Sadik Fofana scored the decisive goal in the 6th minute, giving the Éperviers their first win in Group B and denting Sudan's hopes of reaching the World Cup.

The Sudanese side pressed for an equalizer but were unable to break down a disciplined Togolese defense.
