Viva Stars FC Kick Off 2025/26 Preseason in Kator



Juba, South Sudan — Viva Stars Football Club officially kicked off their 2025/26 preseason on Monday with a training session at the Saint Theresa Playground in Kator.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Simon Lagu, popularly known as Jake, the session saw 20 players report for duty as the team begins preparations for a pivotal season ahead.

Among those present but not participating were Moses Ohuteleng (Aguero) and new signing Samson Yugusuk, both of whom watched from the sidelines due to undisclosed reasons.

The Fighters are aiming to build on their strong performances over the past two seasons. Since Coach Lagu took over from Charles Ceaser, Viva Stars have developed into one of the most respected teams in the Juba Football Association First Division, also known as the Konyokonyo League.

This season, Viva Stars are eyeing their first-ever Konyokonyo League title and a historic promotion to the South Sudan Premier League.

With hard work, discipline, and ambition, the Fighters are ready to make their mark.
