Ulinzi Complex, Monday – South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars delivered a stunning second-half comeback to secure a 4-2 victory over Zanzibar’s JKU Queens in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.

Despite trailing 2-1 at halftime, Yei Joint Stars rallied with a dominant second-half performance, netting three unanswered goals to seal the win.

 The result highlights the South Sudanese side’s resilience and keeps their hopes alive in the regional qualifiers.

JKU Queens had started strongly, capitalizing on early defensive lapses to take the lead. However, Yei Joint Stars showed superior fitness and tactical adjustments after the break to turn the game around.
