Koryom FC held Malakia SC to a dramatic 2-2 draw in Week 3 of the South Sudan Premier League on Tuesday at the Juba National Stadium.

It was a blistering start for the hosts as Jose Kuch, popularly known as Vardy, opened the scoring just 16 seconds into the match—one of the fastest goals in the league’s history—after a composed finish inside the box.

Koryom FC, however, responded before the break, with Alema Musa leveling the score to send the two sides into halftime tied at 1-1.

After the restart, the Juba-based Royal Club maintained the pressure, and it paid off when Vitale Paulino restored the lead in the early minutes of the second half, making it 2-1.

But just when Malakia seemed poised to seal all three points, Daniel Oyeye stepped up for Koryom FC with a stunning 96th-minute equalizer to silence the home crowd and secure a hard-fought point for the visitors from Bor.

The result sees Malakia SC temporarily move to the top of the Premier League standings with 4 points, while Koryom FC sit in 8th place with 2 points from two matches.
