Nujum Al Shorta secured a dominant 4–0 victory over Al Shebiba in the second round of the South Sudan Cup under the Melut Football Association, played at the Salam Playground on Thursday.


Aty Lual opened the scoring just two minutes into the match before Nyok Jacob stole the spotlight with a brilliant hat-trick, striking in the 42nd, 47th, and 88th minutes to ensure a convincing win for his side.


For his outstanding performance, Nyok Jacob was named Man of the Match, a well-deserved recognition after leading Nugum Al Shorta into the third round.


The police team will now face imatong FC in what promises to be an exciting third-round encounter.
