Tanzania Cruise to 6–0 Victory Over Sudan in Opening Group B Clash

Tanzania made a powerful start to their TotalEnergies U17 AFCON qualifying campaign, delivering a commanding 6–0 win over Sudan in their opening Group B fixture.

Dismus Athanasi set the tone early, scoring twice in the 10th and 16th minutes, before Nhingo Luzelenga added a third in the 21st minute to give Tanzania a comfortable lead at halftime.

The dominance continued after the break. Kassim Juma struck in the 57th minute, followed by Soann Shabani in the 74th, before Hamisi Baruai completed the rout with an 80th-minute finish.

The result sends a strong message to the rest of Group B as Tanzania take early control with a statement performance.
