Juba, South Sudan - 16th APRIL 2026 -  CAF–FIFA capacity-building course for national team managers has officially concluded at the FIFA Campus Regional Office in Rabat, Morocco.

The program, which began on 14 March 2026, was introduced under CAF member associations in collaboration with FIFA as part of a global pilot initiative covering all 211 FIFA Member Associations.

Delivered through a blended learning format, the course combined online self-paced study, virtual meetings, and structured academic modules, featuring five core study units aimed at strengthening national team management structures.

Each member association was represented by one participant, ensuring equal participation across all federations.

Key focus areas included FIFA Series eligibility criteria, crisis management in line with FIFA policies, and modern football federation administration practices.

The initiative is expected to be expanded globally as part of CAF and FIFA’s long-term development strategy.

Speaking exclusively to Sports Hunter South Sudan, from Rabat, Lugala Emmanuel, representing the South Sudan Football Association, shared his experience:

“I feel so good about the whole program simply because I got equipped with new knowledge, especially the criteria for FIFA Series games, crisis management as per FIFA policy and much more. Once given the conducive environment, I guarantee positivity in my federation.”
