Withdrawal Confirmed

Munuki Women FC are facing growing uncertainty after Adim & Family Investment Company Limited moved to withdraw its support and formally requested the return of items recently delivered to the club.

The decision was reached during a meeting chaired by the company’s CEO, Mr. Adim Victor 7. In a statement, the company said:

“We regret our little support we intended to offer for the development of the talented young girls at Munuki Women’s FC, but we respect the position taken by the administration of Munuki SC and have resolved to retrieve all our donations.”

The items in question include 210 branded jerseys—150 intended for supporters and 60 for players—along with 60 pairs of player stockings.

Unclear Sponsorship Framework

Sports Hunter South Sudan understands there is no publicly available record of a formal sponsorship agreement between the company and the Juba-based club.

Jerseys bearing the company’s branding have been seen in circulation, but it remains unclear whether these items were supplied under a formal agreement or as part of a goodwill gesture.

Internal Process Raises Questions

Sources within the club suggest the initial contact with the company originated from a request attributed to a member of the technical team. The club’s administration reportedly had no prior knowledge of the arrangement, raising concerns after jerseys appeared in circulation without official approval.

Additional claims reviewed by Sports Hunter South Sudan indicate that correspondence sent to the company may not have used the club’s officially recognized letterhead. While this outlet has seen materials relating to the matter, they have not been independently verified.

Club Considers Legal Action

Following these developments, Munuki SC is reportedly exploring legal action after discovering unauthorized jerseys bearing the club’s name circulating in the market. Sources say the administration views this as potential brand misuse and is assessing its options to protect the club’s interests.

An official response from Munuki SC is expected on April 3, 2026.

What This Means for the Club

Despite the withdrawal, the company has stated it will continue to support the team from the stands during matches.

Munuki Women FC, runners-up in the 2025/2026 South Sudan Cup, now face complex questions around governance, communication, and sponsorship protocols as women’s football in South Sudan continues to grow.

This remains a developing story. Sports Hunter South Sudan will provide updates as more information becomes available.
