Viva Stars Awarded Forfeit Win Over Citizen in Juba League

 



Juba, South Sudan - 13th April 2026 - Viva Stars FC were handed a 3-0 forfeit victory over Citizen FC in the Juba Football Association 1st Division League after their match at Bulluk Playground was abandoned early.

Viva Stars made a blistering start, scoring twice inside the opening two minutes through Khalifa Jackson and Emmanuel Bara.

Citizen began the match with only seven players, and the situation worsened when their goalkeeper went down injured, forcing the Viva Stars team doctor to step in and assess him. During this stoppage, an additional Citizen player arrived but declined to join the match, leaving the team below the required number of players to continue.

The referee subsequently called off the game, awarding the result to Viva Stars in accordance with the rules.

Standings Update:
Viva Stars move up to 5th place with 39 points, while Citizen FC remain bottom of the table with 13 points.
