Atlabara FC continued with their impressive performance in the Konyokonyo league with a victory over Zal zal FC.

 



Juba, South Sudan: 27th September, 2024:

 Atlabara FC defeated ZAL ZAL FC 3:1 in the  third week, of the Juba Local Football Association 1st Division League, at the Bulluk Playground on Friday . 

Keer Mangar, scored the first goal in the game in Favor of Atlabara after only seven minutes from the start of the game , Mangar again added the second goal for Bara boys  in the 19th minutes  of the game, before Achuil, reduces the scoring gap Seven minutes to the end of the first half.

In the second half, Zal zal FC players puts much pressure on Atlabara defencde in order to equalize the match with Bara boys depending on counterattacks until Kenthy Anothony sealed the victory with the third goal in the 64th minutes.

It’s worth mentioning that Achuil, missed a penalty shot for Zal zal FC in the seventy five minutes of the game after a brilliant save from Atlabra FC goal Keeper Khamis Daniel.

With the victory, Atlabara FC moves to Top of the table with two win and one draw, while Zal zal remain with only three points from one win and two defeats.

Bright Stars Begin Preparations for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

By: Emmanuel Patrick Laku - Juba, South Sudan – Saturday, 23 August 2025 South Sudan’s senior men’s national football team, the Bright Stars, kicked off their preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 African Qualifiers with a training session at the Juba National Stadium on Saturday morning. The session was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Coach Simon James and Fitness Coach Brin George, with players from the South Sudan Premier League taking part. The foreign-based players, alongside Head Coach Nicolas Dupuis, are expected to join the squad in the coming days.
