Al-Hilal Omdurman appoint Alexander Miguel Crespo Santos as new head coach


Al-Hilal Omdurman have officially appointed Portuguese coach Alexander Miguel Crespo Santos as their new head coach.

The Sudanese giants confirmed the appointment, bringing in a highly experienced tactician with a strong record across African football.

Crespo Santos won three consecutive Angolan league titles with Petro Atlético, alongside multiple domestic cups and a Super Cup. 

He also guided AS FAR to a CAF Champions League final and previously worked as assistant coach at FC Porto in Portugal and Al Ahly in Egypt.

The club described the appointment as the arrival of a coach with a “winning European mentality” as they aim to compete at the highest level in African football.
