JUBA – South Sudan midfielder Anjuwa Gabriel has officially parted ways with Atlabara FC following the expiration of her contract, ending a chapter she described as one of the most meaningful periods of her football career.

In an emotional message shared on social media, on Sunday, Gabriel revealed that leaving the club was a difficult decision, emphasizing that Atlabara had become more than just a team during her time there.

"This club has not just been a football club but also a home to me," Gabriel wrote.

The midfielder thanked the club's management, coaching staff and teammates for their support throughout her stay, adding that Atlabara will always hold a special place in her heart.

Her departure comes after the completion of a one-year contract, with the player confirming that she is now available for new opportunities as she looks to begin the next chapter of her career.

While she did not disclose her next destination, Gabriel hinted at a desire to embrace fresh challenges, a move that could attract interest from clubs both within South Sudan and beyond.

For Atlabara FC, Gabriel's exit marks the departure of a player who formed part of the club's recent campaigns and leaves with the respect and appreciation of those she worked alongside.

As she turns the page on her Atlabara journey, one thing remains clear: the bond between Gabriel and the club is unlikely to fade anytime soon.
