🏆 Djoliba AC crowned champions of Mali!

Djoliba AC officially received their championship trophy on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Stade Mamadou Konaté, following a 2-1 victory against FC Diarra on Matchday 24 of the Ligue 1 Pro Orange season.

The trophy ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Malian Football Federation, Mahazou “Baba” Cissé, alongside several members of the Executive Committee.

The Bamako-based club, already winners of the national cup this season, have now completed a historic domestic double after a highly successful campaign.

 In addition to the trophy, Djoliba AC also received a cash prize of 30,000,000 CFA francs, awarded by official sponsor Orange Mali in recognition of their outstanding performance.

This triumph further confirms Djoliba AC’s current dominance on the Malian domestic football scene.

South Sudan former interim head coach Cyprian Ashu believes the Bright Stars can challenge for qualification in Group B of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifiers despite being drawn against Egypt, Angola and Malawi.
