South Sudan Premier League side Jamus SC (The Buffaloes) are set to depart Juba on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, for Kigali, Rwanda, where they will hold an intensive pre-season training camp ahead of the new campaign and regional duties.

The club confirmed the development in an official statement released on its Facebook page on Saturday evening, describing the camp as part of their “rigorous preparation” for the upcoming season, including participation in the CECAFA Club Championship, scheduled to kick off on July 18.

Jamus SC stated: “This camp comes as part of the club’s rigorous preparation for the upcoming football season and its participation in the CECAFA Club Championship.”

Head coach Saber Ben Jabria will lead the technical team during the camp, with the focus on improving players’ physical condition, tactical discipline, and overall match readiness.

The programme will also include a series of friendly matches to sharpen competitiveness ahead of the regional tournament.

The club added that the objective is to ensure strong performances that will “honour South Sudanese football” on the regional stage.

Domestically, the one-time league champions will also be aiming to reclaim the South Sudan Premier League title after it was won by El Merriekh in the 2025/26 season.
