JUBA, South Sudan — Juba Queens have strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielders Victoria Jokudu Jackson and Abubakar Fatuma Omer on four-year contracts.

The newly established women's side confirmed the arrivals through a statement posted on their official Facebook page on Thursday.

"Today we have completed the signing of two midfielders, Victoria Jokudu Jackson joining us after the end of her four years with Rabita Queens and Abubakar Fatuma Omer joining us after the end of her contract at Wakiso Hills WFC. Both penned a four-year deal," the club said.

Victoria Jokudu joins Juba Queens after spending four years with Rabita Queens, while Fatuma Omer arrives from Ugandan side Wakiso Hills WFC following the expiration of her contract.

The double signing is the latest move by Juba Queens as they continue to build a competitive squad ahead of their debut season.

Both players are expected to add experience, creativity and depth to the club's midfield as the team prepares for upcoming competitions.
