Newly established women's side have announcedΔΊ the signing of midfielder Shamirah Fibi Norine Nelson on a four-year contract.

The club confirmed the deal on its official Facebook page, describing Fibi as a technically gifted midfielder capable of operating in both central and attacking midfield roles.

Fibi joins Juba Queens as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with in December last year, bringing valuable experience to the club's ambitious long-term project.

The move marks another significant addition for Juba Queens as the newly formed side prepares for its expected debut campaign in the Juba Football Association Women's League.

South Sudan former interim head coach Cyprian Ashu believes the Bright Stars can challenge for qualification in Group B of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifiers despite being drawn against Egypt, Angola and Malawi.
