South Sudan Premier League champions El Merriekh Bentiu have announced the arrival of three new players from Liberia 🇱🇷. The trio landed at Juba International Airport on Friday morning ahead of medical examinations and the completion of their official signings with the club.

The club confirmed the arrivals via its official Facebook page, with further details on the new signings expected in the coming days.

According to the club, the players will undergo medical checks before being officially unveiled by the reigning champions.

South Sudan former interim head coach Cyprian Ashu believes the Bright Stars can challenge for qualification in Group B of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifiers despite being drawn against Egypt, Angola and Malawi.
