Some football clubs and football associations in Somalia have been awarded their annual licensing certificates as part of the country’s football regulatory process.

The certification marks compliance with key administrative and technical requirements set for participation in official competitions for the new season.








The development is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and professionalism within Somali football.

South Sudan former interim head coach Cyprian Ashu believes the Bright Stars can challenge for qualification in Group B of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifiers despite being drawn against Egypt, Angola and Malawi.
