🏐 South Sudan Fall to Uganda in CAVB Zone V Qualifiers



South Sudan suffered a 3-0 defeat to hosts Uganda on Matchday 2 of the 2026 CAVB African Nations Championship Zone V Qualifiers at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium in Kampala.

Uganda claimed the opening set 25-18 before being pushed to the limit in the next two sets, edging South Sudan 26-24 and 29-27 in a closely contested encounter.

Despite the straight-sets loss, South Sudan showed resilience and competitiveness, particularly in the second and third sets, where they came within touching distance of forcing the match into a fourth set.
