NAIROBI, Kenya – South Sudan Kickboxing Federation President Puro Okello has expressed his dissatisfaction with the result of Musa Bushak Peter's bout against a Kenyan lightweight fighter Ali at Saturday night's ANZA MMA event in Nairobi.

Following the contest, Okello described the defeat as controversial, arguing that professional mixed martial arts bouts should be decided through clear outcomes inside the cage.

"Knowing the professional MMA rules, Musa Bushak Peter's loss is controversial. I believe in a fair fight. A fighter should win by KO, TKO, submission, or tap out," Okello said.

Despite his concerns over the result, the South Sudan Kickboxing Federation president thanked members of the team and supporters who backed the fighter throughout the event.

The bout has generated debate among supporters, with Okello's remarks adding to discussions surrounding the outcome of the contest.

Bushak was representing South Sudan against regional opposition as ANZA MMA continued its mission of showcasing some of East Africa's emerging mixed martial arts talent.
