Uganda U17 Women Return Home After CECAFA Triumph in Tanzania

 




The Uganda U17 women’s national football team have returned to Kampala following their successful campaign at the CECAFA U17 Women's Championship 2026 held in Tanzania.

The Teen Cranes sealed the title in style after a convincing 3–0 victory over hosts Tanzania in the final, capping off a dominant tournament run.

The squad received a warm welcome upon arrival in Kampala after lifting the regional trophy, marking another milestone for Uganda’s youth women’s football development.
