Zanzibar Finish Group B Campaign with Convincing 4-0 Victory Over Djibouti

 

Zanzibar wrapped up their Group B campaign at the 2026 CECAFA U-17 Women's Championship with an emphatic 4-0 win over Djibouti at the KMC Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Zanzibar Queens took an early lead through an own goal by Luiz Federico in the 2nd minute before Aidda Mnyachisa doubled the advantage in the 9th minute. 

Aziza Hamadi added a third shortly after the restart in the 47th minute, while Mariam Husein sealed the victory with a goal in the 70th minute.
