๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: Samuel Taban Cleared of ACL Injury After Medical Scans in Egypt

Jamus SC medical staff confirmed on Sunday that they have received the final results of detailed medical examinations and scans conducted on defender Samuel Taban in Egypt.

The club announced that the versatile defender has been cleared of any anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury following the assessment, which was carried out at a hospital in Cairo, whose name was not disclosed.

“By the grace of God, the medical reports have confirmed that the player is completely free from any anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury,” the club stated.

However, Jamus SC noted that the player sustained a minor injury that will require a short rehabilitation programme and physiotherapy sessions.

“The minor injury he sustained requires only a brief rehabilitation program and physiotherapy sessions,” the statement added.

Taban, a former Kator FC defender and Future Stars Football Academy graduate, sustained the injury earlier this year during a national team training session.

He will begin his rehabilitation immediately in Cairo before returning to Juba, where he is expected to rejoin the squad’s collective training as Jamus SC prepare for upcoming crucial fixtures.

The club concluded by wishing the defender a speedy recovery and a quick return to full leadership duties within the team.

Taban travelled to Cairo on 3 July 2026, shortly after renewing his contract with Jamus SC.
