El Merriekh Bentiu Defender Ishimwe Saleh Arrives in Uganda for Pre-Season Camp

El Merriekh SC Bentiu have confirmed the arrival of Rwandan international defender Ishimwe Saleh at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda as the club continues to gather its squad ahead of the new campaign.

The South Sudan Premier League and Cup champions are currently in the process of assembling for pre-season preparations in Kampala, with training yet to officially begin.

Saleh’s arrival is part of the early squad build-up ahead of a crucial season that will include domestic title defence and participation in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.

The Rwandan defender, who recently extended his contract with the club until 2028, is expected to be a key figure in the team’s long-term project.

El Merriekh Bentiu will officially commence pre-season training in the coming days as they prepare for both local and continental commitments.
