Viva Stars FC Sign Former Homeboys Defender Siro Akumee Lino

JUBA, South Sudan — Viva Stars FC have continued strengthening their squad with the signing of former Homeboys FC central defender Siro Akumee Lino.

The Fighters confirmed the arrival of the defender through an official Facebook announcement, welcoming him to the club ahead of their campaign in the Juba Football Association First Division League.

“Officially, we have signed former Homeboys (CB) Siro Akumee Lino. Welcome to the family of Fighters. Welcome to Viva Star FC, Capitano,” the club stated.

The addition of Siro is expected to strengthen Viva Stars’ defensive line as the club targets a strong performance and promotion push towards the South Sudan Premier League.

Viva Stars did not disclose the transfer fee, contract duration, or other details of the agreement.
