Ayman Kamal Steps Down as Wajuma FC Fitness Coach After One Month
By: Emmanuel Patrick Laku : Juba | South Sudan| Tuesday 15th July 2025
In a surprising development, Coach Ayman Kamal has officially stepped down from his role as fitness coach at Wajuma FC, just a month after being appointed by head coach John Alier, also known as Coach Jongo.
The mutual separation, confirmed by Sports Hunter South Sudan, follows what Ayman described as “personal issues” with Coach Jongo — but not financial disagreements.
“Since Coach Jongo signed the contract with Wajuma FC on his behalf and on behalf of the coaching staff, I can confirm that I haven’t received any payment. But that is not the reason for my departure,” Ayman clarified.
“We had some misunderstandings, and we agreed to part ways amicably. I am no longer with Wajuma FC.” Ayman exclusively told Sports Hunter South Sudan
Despite the brief spell, Ayman remains grateful for the opportunity, and extended his best wishes to the club.
“I thank Coach Jongo and the Wajuma FC administration for the chance. I wish the team and fans all the best in the 2025/2026 season.”
Coach Ayman Kamal, who holds a CAF D Coaching License, is no stranger to South Sudanese football.
He previously served as head coach for Shati FC, Ahli FC, and Nusur FC in the Juba Football Association third division.
More notably, he was part of the historic El Merriekh Bentiu technical team that won their first-ever South Sudan National League title, working as a fitness coach under Coach Ramzi Sebit and Assistant Mubarak Abdulrazig.
He also worked alongside Ramzi at Kator FC and Munuki SC, building a growing reputation as one of South Sudan’s promising young coaches in the fitness and conditioning field.
Now a free agent, Ayman is open to new opportunities with any club in search of a qualified and experienced fitness coach.
Sports Hunter South Sudan will keep you updated on any official response from Wajuma FC or Coach Jongo regarding this development.
